Premonitions of Another Winner in the Vengeance Trilogy!

I was curious, after reading the first book in this series, A Vow To Keep, to see what would become of little Nicholas. Now, in Trust in Me, he's all grown up and his magical gift of premonition has become more of a curse than a blessing.
Lord Nicholas is hiding out in his Keep, never expecting to find love, have a family or the happiness other young men his age might expect. When his severely injured brother, William, is literally dumped on his front porch-so to speak-it starts in motion a series of events that will, eventually, tear down the walls Nicholas has so firmly built up around his heart.
Getting there, though, is half the fun! And Ms. Williams has done a wonderful job of making the reader sympathetic towards both the dark and vengeful Nicholas and the sweet and well-intentioned Lady Elizabeth-she who dumped the brother!
Early on the two are naturally attracted to each other, but once Nicholas's true identity is revealed, and Elizabeth's complicity in his brother's condition as well, these two characters face what seem like insurmountable odds, fraught with anger and suspicion.
Count on Ms. Williams to draw us in and lead us-quite willingly-through a maze of misgivings and misinformation and out the other side, to a very satisfying ending!
I'm very much anticipating the final book in Ms. William's Vengeance Trilogy. This one, I'm told, will tell the story of Nicholas's brother William. If the first two installments are any indication I expect a very good tale indeed!

Trust In Me! This is a must read!

And I thought A Vow to Keep was wonderful! But Trust in Me is amazing! The
second in Lana Williams Vengeance trilogy Trust in Me is the story of
Nicholas de Bremont, the son of Lady Alyna from the first book. And Nicholas is
dark, sexy, and quite a thrill to read. It's his turn to meet the love of his
life, but he doesn't believe in that sort of thing. After all with his gift of
second sight he thinks himself a beast that is unlovable, but Lady Elizabeth
changes all that. She's vivacious, bubbly, and always positive even at the worst
of times, and Nicholas is no match for her joyous ways. Soon enough he finds
himself a captor in her web of sunny feminism. Their romance is conflicted with
the unpleasant situation that Elizabeth and Nicholas are enemies, because of an
unproven accusation, which makes readers riveted until the very end.
Trust in me! This is a must read!

Beautifully Crafted Story

I'm a total sucker for a 'Beauty and the Beast' love story and Lana Williams has written a wonderful Medieval spin on the classic tale. I loved Nicholas from the start - so tortured - and the way he thought himself cursed and a monster made my heart ache. He had so much to give but just couldn't see that he had anything to live for but revenge for his brother's injury. Elizabeth was clearly a perfect match for him - with her compassion, strength and beauty she was exactly the right heroine to help Nicholas trust in himself and her. I also enjoyed seeing the precocious child, Nicholas, from Williams' first in this trilogy, A Vow To Keep, all grown up as the hero. I can't wait to read his brother's story in the third book.
