Another outstanding collection from Delphi.

This is the latest in addition to the Delphi Poets series and it definitely lives up to the high standards set by the publisher. The formatting is excellent and it's easy to find your favorite poem. This collection is also a great value at only $1.99. As for Owen himself, his war poems are some of the most beautiful and haunting pieces I've read. Poems like "Dulce et Decorum Est" truly show the ugly face of war. I highly recommend this collection, it should not be missed.

Excellent collection

This is the best ebook collection of Owen's poetry available. It contains not only his published works but also fragments and alternative variants of the famous "Strange Meeting" which exists only in draft form. The poetry can be read in either alphabetical or chronological order. the latter allow one to contrast his earlier work with the remarkable power revealed in his war poetry. The Letters are there too which convey a more intimate view of the man.

If you are interested in Owen in particular or the World War One poets in general--this is a very good buy.

This book did not include the ending to one of Wilfred Owen's most famous poems. Very disappointing and unbelievable that it made it through. Unacceptable that such an excellent poet's work was so badly handled.

Exciting, informative, and sad. Read it yourself and see!

"The Vietnam War" eBook contains 9 chapters. It takes you way back to 938 AD and then step by step all the way to 1977, the Gerald Ford era, and later.

It reveals the reasons why the Vietnam War began in 1955. How the communist nations supported the North and the U.S. government and their allies the South. A peace treaty was signed in January 1973 by both the North and South but the war continued for years after causing a devastating amount of casualties.

Each chapter delivers historical facts like these regarding specific events. France governed the entire country by 1888. Leading up to the 1900's when the German's took over and it was ruled by the Germans and Italians, but the Japanese managed with their puppet government.

The dangers, treachery, conflicts lasted for so many years. This is explained well throughout each chapter. The leaders maintaining control, including Ho Chi Minh, in their own devastating way created a gathering of intelligence for the communist North, and for the U.S backed south to support the French with the newly formed Military Assistance and Advisory Group (MAAG). Later on the North and South were independent for some time but not without fear in the people. It was just another growing challenge during this painful period.

It explains the way the presidents each had their own views and how they wanted to step in to assist with the defeat of communism, leading the tense organization plans they developed for specific results are mentioned in a precise manner. The foreign countries' involvements are listed. It leads through clearly, up to the introduction of Agent Orange and its horrific side effects, and more.

It's an easy read. It's very sad, compelling and yet enlightening. I enjoyed it and recommend it.

I read this prior to visiting Vietnam. An excellent background briefing which was quick and easy to read. Has an agenda (I can't imagine a book about this war that wouldn't) but does a good job of painting the political complexities and historical background.

Each chapter is packed with key event s leading up to, during the Vietnam War, who actually started the conflict, and who was involved, and much more. Tips mes a mes?? Nunca aparece un tip.
Una verborrea interminable de palabras sin llegar al fondo del asunto y que el mismo título da indicios... como hacer feliz a tu bebé sin consentirlo.
